A Lathe at the Center of Every Shop

In the small shop that I work in, the lathe is the center piece. Capable of trimming parts, creating tooling, and making all sorts of necessary parts for bicycles, it truly is one of the most versatile tools one can own. This particular lathe was delivered to the US Navy in 1944 during the war. This is a fantastic piece of machinery that has been well maintained ever since and has now found it's way to me. After a little bit of work to bring it back up to perfect functioning order it's now humming away trimming headtubes, making fixture spacers, and getting me one step closer to finishing frames.
